Get rid of the sponges! Seriously. Get up right now and go to your kitchen or bathroom and throw away the cleaning sponges. They are gross to look at. And don't even sit there and tell me that you always put it under the sink because you don't. Plus they collect so many germs and you keep wiping germs and bacteria onto what you are trying to clean.
Instead keep a bag of clean cleaning rags under the sink or in a closet or somewhere close but hidden. Be sure to wash your cleaning rags. Also, yes, you must wash your dish cloths.
That's all for now cleaning bunnies.

Take it off put it up
Maybe I sound a little too much like your mother when you were growing up. But it's true. When you take off your coat, your shoes, hat, clothes, you can drop them on the floor or you can take the time to put them where they belong. You already know this. Knowing this, however, hasn't made a bit of difference though. But think of it this way a pile of a week's worth of clothes is not going to make it better.
Okay, so you're tired. I get it. So make a commitment to not leave your clothes down when you go to bed. If that doesn't work then find some game for yourself, something to motivate you to put it up, at least on the same day, you take it off.

Housekeeping tip 1
If you clean your home before you go to bed and make sure it's clean before you leave to go anywhere, then it will always be clean.
